Whole article talks about photo differences but there aren’t any concrete shown examples of the problem images. Kind of disappointing because it’s difficult to tell if the differences are huge or mild exaggeration.

If you scroll down to "The 75mm Telephoto Camera" section of https://lux.camera/iphone-13-pro-camera-app-intelligent-photography/ https://lux.camera/iphone-13-pro-camera-app-intelligent-phot..., there are some images demonstrating the "painted" look you get from the noise reduction.
