MIT doesn't offer scholarships to anyone. It only offers need-based aid.
- taylodl 5y agoAh, right - I remember that now. Their thinking is everybody who gets offers are top-tier and all worthy of scholarships. Now it's a matter of the disconnect between what MIT thinks you can afford and what you actually can afford. $180K for an undergraduate education, for someone wanting to be an entrepreneur? They're going to have to do a full analysis of how MIT can further them along with that goal and whether it's worth it.
