Bytes are certainly simpler than Unicode.
- OtomotO 5y agoIf in the end I have to show ß or Ø or È it doesn't matter how it's encoded, but I would certainly argue for a unicode standard to be better than some proprietary format. KISS doesn't mean that you can't have nice features, it means to have nice features with meaningful complexity
