Every proof or point, including the linked articles are at the least underwhelming and at most controversial. They are certainly not "rules". Author calls them "tips" before, which is more apt. But as the "tips/rules" go, they lack all nuance and background. With TDD, as with anything "it depends". All of the rules (tips) proposed, I consider to be harmful and plain wrong in many situations (though not always and everywhere!).
