- MerelyMortal 5y agoThe Mattress Firm salespeople that will negotiate down to 40% always type it in the computer before saying "yes" or "no". The others say they can only do 10% or that I can't negotiate. The later, I just laughed and walked out the door as he was trying to get me to stay. I didn't want to reward that behavior. The rest, I just thank them for their time and wish them a good day as I leave.
