I actually work at CVS Pharmacy. They are super long receipts, but it’s full of coupons. Not very interesting. People come back and use their extra bucks on stuff. I bought a soda the other day from cvs for like $2.11 and got $2.00 off my next purchase of a drink. Expires in 5 days. That’s $0.11 for a drink. Pretty cool and seems to keep a lot more people coming back then I’d expect. Walgreens does coupons but with pictures so you see the item you get discounts on. They seem to be more relevant and prominent than cvs coupons on receipts, but Walgreens never gives a money amount off items like cvs. That’s probably where the main competition happens. Potato potato, but one is certainly doing better than the other.
