You don't want the roof to collapse when the first snowflake drops.
- toomuchtodo 5y agoSome jurisdictions are mandating commercial/industrial code where the roof structure must be able to accommodate solar loading, but existing buildings are hit or miss.
- Someone 5y agoOr with the first serious storm. I would guess that’s the larger risk most of the time (are there areas with significant snowfall that don have very strong winds?), especially when panels are mounted sloped.
