Just my best guess as a non-iPhone4S upsell reason for it being iPhone 4S only. The fact that it requires an internet connection may not mean anything. You don't necessarily know why it needs an internet connection. Things like search or feeding back use data can be non computational reasons for requiring an internet connection.
