I'd say it's wise and valuable to not stay as a typical anything. Having a greater variety of experience will serve you well. I personally don't think web3 and dapps are going to have that much impact, although others may disagree. One observation I would make is that trying to identify "the next big thing" is innately risky. You could be right, or it might crash and burn. Do keep learning, growing and pursuing things that interest you.
