I got onboarding, but I didn’t get my laptop until the next week. Being remote, this was just a bit of an issue because I was suppose to start work immediately. Fortunately, macOS happily runs off an external disk and the installer supports restoring from another macOS install. So I spent my first week booting my personal machine from an external SSD.
