Wait.... Your petrol pumps have adverts on them?
- joncrane 5y agoPeople act like this is new but it's been around for at least ten years where I live (near Washington DC).
- swarnie 5y agoI think its not super common in the 94% of the world which isn't America hence why people are confused. Here you just select if you want to pay by card at the pump or at the desk and away you go.
- DangitBobby 5y agoA lot of the new ones do, yes. Sometimes having low rates of vandalism works against you, it turns out.

- ip26 5y agoI’ve done it, sometimes I buy coffee, use the bathroom, check email- and then I’m on the road again. But that’s actually kind of a fun idea, watch a show or movie in bursts. Thanks! Maybe you look forward to the next charging stop, to find out what happens after the cliffhanger!

- bonestamp2 5y agoYes, sometimes a really annoying ad will play on the video screen once you start pumping. Other times, they will show you a funny clip from a talk show -- it's still an ad but at least it's entertaining.
