Ask HN: Good Programs for Masters in Security?
Wanted to get some recommendations since I only know about CMU being a good one because of their CTF team.
Mostly interested in low-level stuff, but to be honest I would like to learn all of CS holistically.
- nextos 5y agoCMU is nice. I'd look into good programs that offer some verification / formal methods. CMU is obviously great in all regards. There are some pretty nice ones in EU as well, with low fees / no fees depending on your passport.
- markus_zhang 5y agoAlso interested in malware reversing programs. Hopefully online as I cannot leave work for full-time study. I know there is a pretty good one in Holland but sadly it doesn't offer online classes. Also don't care if it doesn't give diploma.
- hnthrowaway0315 5y agoHere are what I found: If you are in Montreal or be able to travel to Montreal from May-30 to Jun-02, RECON 2022 is going to present a lot of trainings. If you are in EU, someone on HN mentioned Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam which has some excellent malware analysis classes.
