I tell everyone to use Bing. It's decent, but better than using Google. Google invades our privacy, keeps users hostages for money. I wish Amazon has built a search engine so that Google's tyrannical regime on internet ends.

- google234123 5y agoIt died in 2008 - it's now just the search engine on Amazon.com Feel free to promote Amazon :) Prime is pretty good

- tssge 5y agoCan't they just migrate off of it? I guess the only part being held hostage according to the article are their Play Store purchases, if even that (the article says the purchases' fate is unclear). To me it seems Google has given ample time to either migrate off of it or to become a customer.
