The ‘Equal-Opportunity Jerk’ Defense: Rudeness Can Obfuscate Gender Bias
- jjgreen 5y agoInteresting argument: because you are hostile to a class of people (all people) which includes a subclass of people (women) then you are biased against the subclass. But doesn't that cut both ways? The authors are clearly biased against a class of people (going as far at to use the offensive term, "Jerk"), which includes a subclass of people (Jews say, I personally know at least one Jew who is a "Jerk" in this sense), conclusion, the authors are Nazis.
