Is this "zoomer meme diplomacy" helping anyone?
The idea that those events started last month and not, say, in 2014 when the CIA staged a coup and evicted a democratically-elected President is just absurd.
- AnimalMuppet 5y agoWhy start there? Why not start in 1932, with the Holodomor? Everybody can point their finger to something in the past. This batch of shooting started a month ago, with Russia invading Ukraine.
- dane-pgp 5y agoI'm guessing your view of "democratically-elected" includes all of Putin's wins but doesn't include Zelenskyy's 2019 success. Anyway, surely you can see a difference between Putin's puppet fleeing Ukraine in 2014 and Russia sending troops to assassinate Zelenskyy in 2022.
