The lack of planning reeks of overconfidence. Being in that clique you’re almost guaranteed endless investment money and a huge valuation. In addition andreesen and Altman and their ilk must have been feeling very old and outdated not being in the crypto business conversation. They’ll leap at any opportunity to get in.
