I know of a few people that work via FieldNation, it's for IT services. They tell you what they need upfront(like replacing and cabling a new access layer switch) and how much they're willing to pay for it.
I have a friend that makes a considerable amount of money from field nation for stuff that for someone like him who has a lot of experience is super easy.
But that's more like hands on technical support/networking/cabling.
