I’ve been to mason many times. There’s not much there - 2 small restaurants and a post office (one of those restaurants is a historical land marker - Gus’s fried chicken).
I’d like to know why the state comptroller is pulling this - they have recently elected a new mayor and city council.
- mbostleman 5y agoAny reasonable person wants to know why the comptroller is doing this pretty much from the first paragraph. But the article never says.
- ashwagary 5y agoHistorically, black people getting rich in the US is frowned upon. Any natural resources or proximity benefits they stand to profit from, will somehow be confiscated by the dominant society using one scam or another. Many of the suspiciously named "race riots" confirm this fact throughout US history. The Oklahoma oil boom is a good example.
