- layer8 5y agoYes, I was expecting "a technical walkthrough" of how H.264 managed to improve on its predecessors. There’s nothing specific to H.264 in the article.
- bob1029 5y agoMPEG-2 and JPEG are very similar in philosophy as well. JPEG in particular is still my favorite image encoding technique. Mostly because of how fast it is relative to the competition.
