There was long story on OSMF violence against Ukraine, where OSMF blocks OSM Ukraine's request to stop show Crimea (Russian-occupied territory of Ukraine) on OpenStreetMap as part of Russia territory since 2014.
Also, at this moment OSM Ukraine requests Russian members volunteerly "take a break" - if there are "normal people" here, then they would follow this request.
Those "normal Russian", who at the time has no any rights to protest in own country against Russia's govt initiated war & invasion of Ukraine, should follow OSM Ukraine's proposed action — we, Ukrainian, then may recognize those Russian "normal".
Otherwise, how should we recognize who is "normal" & and who is not?
JFTR, I'm Ukrainian living in Ukraine. Here is my statement for HN:[0]

N.B. For example, I already highlighted bad "good guy" role playing by «Libre Art» (ex-«Libre Graphics World») blog author[1], who being Russian living in Russia & trying to play friendly to Ukrainian on Twitter, on own country's Linux user group («Linux.Org.Ru») forum really joked a lot about Ukraine & Crimea after it was occupied by Russian.[2,3]
