For me it is desirable to shut up someone yelling in my face so I could listen quality information. Down-ranking the sites should not be considered as censorship you can still find your BS if you scroll down enough. Down-ranking is a way to improve search quality. Maybe DDG this way violates the absolute freedom of speech but at least it is fighting for my freedom to hear and listen.
