I am interested in the “combined license” in situations like this, because there is the OS license, and and in-code EULA. I suppose if you don’t agree, just fork and remove? But how can you have a license that prevents discrimination based on end-user applications, AND a discrimination not captured by that license?
- beny23 5y agoI don't think it can call itself an open source licence anymore, because isn't there a part of OS that says a licence is only open if it isn't restrictive?
- iab 5y agoThat was my understanding as well. There are a lot of these cases, with an OS license and then some other restriction which breaks some clause of the (stated) license - bit of a gray area I suppose.
