The Last Time Congress Amended § 230 (Of the Communications Decency Act)
- gumby 5y agoThe problem with sec. 230 is it doesn't block that stuff, plus it lets people block this stuff with no consequences. That's terrible. It's not like the problems with FOSTA weren't clearly predicted before it happened: there were many precedents (e.g. the Backpage case). It was clearly a case of the squeaky gear getting the attention.
