Makes me wonder if a large company like Facebook has ever "accidentally" counted their shadow profiles in user growth numbers.
- shadowgovt 5y agoFacebook's initial growth hack was getting contacts in individual universities to send email rosters to them so they could send hand-crafted invites to be in the network.
- jsemrau 5y ago^ bots. 2 Billion DAUs is an insanely larger number of users and I hardly know anyone who is using Facebook much anymore. Surely that's anecdotal and there are parts of the world where FB is the gateway to the Internet.
