Companies have started doing weird "mind games" and "tests" lately, watch out
- Avalaxy 5y agoHah. I was wondering if it could be that; a test to see how I would react.
- muzani 5y agoThey announce their weird mind games on Facebook and LinkedIn. I had a friend who would reject candidates who ask for the address of the interview because it shows they couldn't do their research and look it up on the site.
- david38 5y agoWhat a terrible filter. The chances the interview is in a different location is quite high.
- muzani 5y agoSince then, I've checked first where offices are before interviewing. I'd normally ask them, "I saw on Google Maps that your company was at X. Is that where we interview?" Half the time, the answer is no - it's some sales office and the engineering team is elsewhere, or "meet me at the cafe at the ground floor". A lot of companies also have multiple floors, so even if you get the building right, you have to ask which floor.
