Apparently as per the house majority leader's office they have no plans to vote on this now[1]. May be he was just making a factual statement on what they have on schedule. Cynic in me thinks it is just the usual dysfunction since the republicans were in favor of this in the Senate so the House doesn't want to do anything about it. Really how long does it take to vote on an almost non-event non divisive bill.

- IgorPartola 5y agoDid you read the comments on Twitter or right here in this thread? This issue is stupidly divisive for no goddamn reason. Twice a year this bill is introduced. Twice a year it fails to get far. This might be the farthest it has gotten. My personal feelings are they I am all for this. Give me daylight after work, I am not going to get it before work because I sleep in the mornings and am more productive in the afternoons. But morning people disagree.
