I might switch to `nix.dev` tutorial that will hopefully get me moving a bit, and then jump back to your blog and the official docs. FWIW, my learning journey with Nix was copy-pasting snippets and casually getting a deeper understanding as I needed it over months. The experience with Nix is 95% wonderful, 5% painful. With many other tools, you can use them without really needing to know what's going on. With Nix.. you'll likely end up wanting to do something which will demand you understand stuff. -- Time spent reading the manual isn't wasted.
