I do not believe that this criticism makes European hearts more welcoming towards people, mostly young men, who are not from direct conflict zones and who are trying to cross borders illegally and forcefully. Ukrainian refugees are women and children who escape from direct war zone when the men stay to fight back against the aggression. Most of them are willing to return home at earliest moment possible. There is very wide support for these suffering people and so far no camps are required because existing accommodations have been used and when needed people welcome them in their homes. How Europe is handling the situation is a model how other countries should handle similar situations and help their neighboring countries in distress. If Lamis Abdelaaty wants to criticize something then she could direct her criticism toward her home country - Unites States and ask Unites States to take in more refugees during the times of hardship. Regardless of mentioned issues, Europe took in around 1 million refugees from Syria. US only few dozen thousands.
