I think school hours are mostly set as early as they are to allow parents to get kids to school before going to work.
- jonahhorowitz 5y agoIf this was rational, you'd be able to drop your kids off on the way to work and pick them up on the way home (ie: 8am to 6pm or something similar).
- tempestn 5y agoExcept that would be way too long for most kids. After school care does exist in many places to bridge the gap though.
