Don't even get me started on that unconfigurable limit. Still, there's a very long list that still there. How do you maintain your own index?

- nulld3v 5y agoI have a custom extension that sends my history to a SQL database (I didn't put much effort in making it easy to use for other people so I honestly wouldn't recommend you use it): https://github.com/null-dev/Historian https://github.com/null-dev/Historian. What I would recommend is just making both your history and bookmarks browser agnostic. That way you don't have to worry about limits and you can switch browsers whenever you want. I'm sure there are extensions out there that can sync data between different browsers, I remember looking at xBrowserSync a while ago: https://www.xbrowsersync.org/ https://www.xbrowsersync.org/. I don't know how well it works though as I've never used it.
