This is the first time I've heard someone express the idea that there is a silent majority of people who would prefer earlier sunrises to later sunsets, very interesting! Intuitively I disagree but I have no evidence and I'm sure at least one person will dislike the change. For me though, the real pain wasn't any particular time zone, it was the abrupt change from getting out of work with some daylight left to walking out in darkness. Gradual changes are almost always easier to deal with.
