Seems like intel and co are trying to build it's factories in the western countries. Basically guess it is a good idea to how some diversification. Especially it seams that the world relies very strongly on taiwan.
- mhh__ 5y agoThey also get fab capacity to sell to people, which is part of Intel's strategy going forward. Decorrelating themselves from AMD and apples political risk (at least until TSMC have a bigger presence in the west) is probably a no-brainer.
