I've noticed a lot more Teslas in the Minneapolis area too. Not quite the way you describe, I still go most days without seeing one. But now it's not unique to see multiple on a single outing.

There's a school near our house, and there are a lot of Tesla school buses that drive by. :-) But multiples in a single outing? How about multiples at the same intersection? It is not uncommon to see three at a stoplight, all pointing different directions, and all the same color even. Even in the heyday of MSFT stock options, I don't think I'd see that many cars of a single luxury brand everywhere I go. It's cool and all, yet strangely bizarre at the same time. Like Tesla ownership is a rite of passage for Microsoft employees or something. :-) So you can imagine how strange it is to me when we travel to visit my parents in central FL, and don't see a single one the whole time.
