That seems like a reasonable comparison. If most people switched from driving cars to riding motorcycles I would be willing to wager that they would find it fun and that traffic fatalities would increase. (I say this not to discourage anyone from riding motorcycles but to point out that "fun" and "dangerous" are often positively correlated.)
