I legitimately would have thought this was satire if I hadn't perused the comments first. The core message I took away was like an old Hunter S. Thompson quote: If you've never crossed the line, you don't really know where the line is. I can think of very few things in my life that need to be optimized to the point of being within microns of the line (peak performance?). I've been down that road before and it never made me any happier or richer, but then again, maybe that's why I'm not a Formula 1 driver.
