I am fine with VCs dispensing with some of their exorbitant profits to random people who are making "web3" technologies. Actually 1B is too little, i was hoping at least 200B of wealth would be redistributed randomly in this manner. Capitalism needs exploration , not just exploitation I 've stopped believing all the hype after people started buying decentraland plots for real. Now this is a model that is very well researched and exploited by second life for 20 years, (sorry kiddos it's happening again[1]). People who really care about metaverse living should go ask Philip Rosedale, not the random assortment of wannabes on twitter.
