Social Rules at Recurse Center
- balaji1 5y agoQuoting: "The social rules are lightweight. You should not be afraid of breaking a social rule. These are things that everyone does, and breaking one doesn’t make you a bad person." They point out and warn against actions that are sometimes very second-nature; many people doing it to each other. These are succinct guidelines and seem like a good idea to try to incorporate every day also.

- kazinator 5y agoI like this version: Bob: What’s the name of the string copy function? Alice: Strncpy. Eve: (from across the room) You should use strlcpy. It’s safer. Bob, Alice (in unsion): Thanks Eve! Alice: I'm glad we have designated backseat drivers.
