  The afore mentioned Collage.com - I'm not afraid of naming companies that willfully and flagrantly violate the law. And yes, I should have filed a complaint with the California AG but I never did for unrelated reasons. Too late now.

  Complaints don't do anything. We need people filing lawsuits. Politicians don't care, they are in bed with businesses and information collection companies.

  Naming and shaming on a techie forum does nothing. People spent over a decade grousing about Micro$$$$oft on Slashdot to no effect. Regulators and legislators are the only people who can do something about this. If you want to make a difference, politick, vote, or lobby.
