Anecdotally, most of the farmers I know and others in similar industries (fishing, logging) are climate-change deniers. They're too worried about their immediate bottom-lines and fighting any attempted regulations they think will affect it to want or care to do anything about the longer-term threat of climate change that will actually devastate their industries for future generations.
