Somewhat related to this, I’m planning a full switch away from Apple *OS to Linux this year, and am looking for a good replacement for my iPhone. I’m aware of the Pine Phone of course, but what other mobile phone players are in the market these days that are not android based? A robust, solid and stable Linux phone that can do at least the basics (calls, MMS, internet, Bluetooth audio, and camera) would be AWESOME.
I’d just like to know what my options are before settling on what to buy.

- Dracophoenix 5y agoYou can try one of many non-Google variants of Android (LineageOS, Calyx, /e/, Graphene) or go for Sailfish OS (the successor to Meego/Maemo). There's also postmarketOS, and Ubuntu Touch, but I'm unaware as to how well they're supported.
