As long companies keep using human resources and labor instead of investing in intellectual assets or partners the situation will never get better. People are no longer motivated by money alone, as money is just compensation, not incentive. Companies tend to be ignorant in that regard.
- pjmlp 5y agoI hate that in Portugal everyone is now a "collaborator" instead of an employees. To my mind that only enforces the replacable cogs mindset.
- dschuetz 5y agoIn Germany employee is just a status, and "collaborator" or Mitarbeiter is a general term for an employed person in a company or team. I was talking not just about terms or words, but new organizational concepts as well.
