I think you have some good content in this post, but I find the attitude unnecessarily hostile.

  (there is no good content in this post, they just want to arbitrarily hate. They make extremely basic errors throughout and clear haven't ever used Rust, at least for anything non-trivial)

    It inspired a wonderful rebuttal from the dev, which I learned more about tradeoffs of speed versus complexity.
