  Frankly, Brexit had invalidated Brexit. There hasn't been a single opinion poll on favour of the (spots) move since before it happened, and now if anything the folly of isolationism is becoming increasingly apparent. Led by donkeys indeed.

  They're still in NATO, and that's far more relevant to the issue at hand.

  On the positive side, it's entirely possible that the transformation discussed in the article will happen faster without the UK meddling from the inside, and outsiders using anti-EU feeling to undermine the bloc, and that being an EU satellite before being re-absorbed will be much better for the average Brit. I guess we'll find out.

  Brexit is the most unbelievable own-goal in history. Though, actually, it couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch of people than 'Albion Perfide'.
