I have a Shenzhen-made 12V/20Ah LiFePo4 battery that has Bluetooth and iOS/Android apps for management. It, too, prompts for a password if you want to enter the "Pro Info" screen that shows per-cell voltages, BMS error states and so on. The password for this screen is "1234". Feels like a move to limit liability to me. You "hacked" it, you're on your own.
