Meta Cuts Back on Some of Facebook’s Perks
- joebob42 5y agoI'm at a big tech company. I literally think I'd leave if they stopped feeding me. It's such an amazingly valuable perk. It's worth substantially more to me than the raw cost of the food. Having to do my own food during wfh killed me. I'm a perfectly fine chef but it just sucks up so much time.
- daly 5y agoDaly's "Free Coffee Law"... when the coffee stops, the company stops. I worked at Worldcom. They provided free coffee. At one point they stopped free coffee because it was too expensive. Worldcom went out of business shortly after that. When the accounting department starts cutting back "small change" numbers you know the company is in deep financial trouble.
