I've returned to the .NET ecosystem this year and have been slowly exploring everything they've added and changed to both C# and .NET since I last used it in 2011. I've been impressed so far. The author does a good job pointing out that it probably can't be the only language you will need to use - for AWS Lambda functions I still reach for Node instead.
