How much does Google charge for Go?
- DoctorOW 5y agoI disagree with the point that Go is a big money maker for Google. I assume the implication is that Go helps make sales for Google Cloud the same way .Net acceptance leads to Azure sales. That said, in my experience this isn't true. Some of the biggest adopters of Go (Uber, Netflix, Twitch) are AWS based. The real profitable part of Go for Google is the scalability and efficiency of the language for Google projects but that's not a very effective argument to switch away from Go.
