-While true, it would presumably be even better to not be executed in the first place - whether the execution takes place in Saudi Arabia, the US or any of the handful of countries still having the death penalty on its books.
- bostonsre 5y agoI guess it depends on the conditions in the jail. Death could be merciful if the conditions are too bad.
- dlp211 5y agoThere are worst things than death, and everyone should consider what the alternative here is. I am absolutely against execution, but I also have zero agency over what Saudi Arabia is going to do to its prisoners, and when I consider the alternative, this is to me the preferable outcome.
