I've had my bank close my account and send all the money in it as a cashier's check to my sister's house. They never told me and let me keep depositing money (at one point I had ~$5k in there.) The only way I was able to figure it out was when payments stopped working and I physically went in to try to withdraw the money I needed. Crypto has issues but banks are worse.
