I am willing to bet that the GDP per capita of neither China nor India will surpass that of the United States within this century or the next.

  I would take that bet, my understanding is China's GDP could easily 2x to 4x the US's in 50-100 years.

    GDP yes, per capita unlikely.

      Possibly, I'm not 100% certain though. History says they are capable of surpassing all established western economic metrics.
